“Thai dominant plants that stretch extensively which vary upon length in flower time depending upon phenotypic expression between 55 and over 100 days. Some very interesting indica phenotypes do express themselves as well.
These seeds were procured at a BOEL BBQ in Eugene, Or. in 1986 by Coot from Mel Frank. He then took them and gave them to his associates who took them to the hills above San Clemente Ca. and grew them in an open pollination grow for 5 or 6 years, thus isolating and creating this IBL separate from DJ’s work altogether. It was said that ‘Velvet Rush’ expressed every color in the rainbow and was better herb than anything around in LA at the time. Coot acquired the beans at the end of this outdoor operation and made one cross to NL#5 X Neville’s Haze in 1991. He then put the seeds away for over 20 years on ice. He gave them to me in 2011 so I decided to explore the seed group and do a repopulation of Velvet Rush and continue the line.”
